Bars, what are they?

For those who have never heard of shampoo bars. These are bars that work just like normal shampoo. The only difference is that regular shampoo consists of about 80% water, making it liquid and often packaged in a plastic shampoo bottle. In contrast, bars are compact and packaged without plastic. So super environmentally conscious!

Perfume-free shampoo bars

These bars contain no synthetic perfume but natural essential fragrance oil, reducing the chance of irritation for sensitive skin. We offer these shampoo bars in three different types, but you will read more about that later.

What are essential oils?

Essential oils are fragrances that are formed under the influence of the sun and are stored in the small cavities and channels in the plant. The oils used in our shampoo bars are therefore 100% vegan. In addition, the specific oils each have their own effect. Below is an overview of our perfume-free shampoo bars, each with its specific effect;

Shampoo bar Lavender

Lavender is calming, soothing and helps with depression. Lavender oil can also help to balance emotions if you're not feeling well.

Shampoo bar Eucalyptus – Tea Tree

The ingredient eucalyptol has expectorant and anti-inflammatory properties, and also helps against headaches, a stuffy nose and a cough. Ideal if you're not feeling well.

Shampoo bar Citrus

This Shampoo Bar contains natural oil from both lemon and orange peel. Lemon oil has a soothing effect on the head and a purifying effect on the skin. Orange is calming for digestion and strengthening for the mind. This oil gives a feeling of joy and improves your mood.

All Bars with the above scents (Lavender, Eucalyptus – Tea Tree and Citrus) are perfume-free, including, for example, the Conditioner and Body Bars.

How do you store a perfume-free shampoo bar?

It is important that you store our Shampoo bars in a dry and dark place. This way, the effect of the essential oils is not lost and your bar can dry and harden properly after you have used it. If you do this, your shampoo bar can last an average of 80 washes. But this, of course, depends on usage, hair length and thickness.
